Description
This set is designed to detect the genes of Verocytotoxin type 1 and type 2 by PCR from Enterohemorrhagic E. coli (EHEC) such as E. coli O-157.

In the previous protocol of the set, it was designed for 100 reactions. (the total volume; PCR 100µl)
The numbers of times of reaction is changed as mentioned above the time, but the volume of all componentis not changed.

Control template EC3
Control template EC3 is designed to ampilify 685 bp fragment by PCR primer EVC-1 & EVC-2 when used as the template.
Since the size of the amplified fragment from control template EC3 (685 bp) differs from the amplified fragment from Verocytotoxin genes (171 bp), amplified fragments are easily distinguished even if a sample is contaminated in control template EC3 tube.
