Description

These clones were raised against bovine osteocalcin, and equally recognize both the bovine and the human osteocalcins. Clone OC4-30 is specific for γ-carboxylated osteocalcin.

Storage

The stock solution (2.0 mg/ml) with Reconstitution Solution should be stored in aliquots at -20° for 1 year, or should be stored at 4°C for 6 months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. The diluted antibody should not be stored.

Applications

• Western blotting analysis under reducing or non-reducing condition.
• Clones OCG4-30, OCG2, OCG4 can be used for histology on frozen tissue and paraffin embedded tissue sections.
• Clone OCG3 can also be used for histology on frozen tissue sections, and has weaker reactivity for paraffin embedded tissue sections than the other clones.
